I was actually terrified but I just really needed to do it for the sake of my sanity. I always wanted to so I can get head tattoos and tomorrow is my birthday so I wanted a new look. I was the “hat” guy for so long never showing my hair and now I just feel overall more confident. It’s weird feeling literally everything but I love it and don’t think I’ll go back to having hair. I do have a scalp issue tho that kinda scares me but I know it’ll be easier to treat without hair so nonetheless, I’m happy and my wife loves it so I can’t complain. Can’t wait to shock my co workers tomorrow lol

If they cured baldness in men with no side effects. Id still shave my head. I like it more

Hi, I took the plunge like many suggested! As expected, I feel weird, but as everyone said, it will pass. Feeling more confident is on the list, for sure. I've never liked my appearance, with or without hair.

Not sure about my glasses though, I might consider getting contacts. And I think it makes me look older (or at least my age), but that's okay.

Hair stopped growing, in a random slash form .. putting all my efforts on the beard lol

Didn’t know there was a sub for baldies, so I ran as fast as I could to this sub and wanted to chime in on how much happier I am now. Was going to wait until I was 40, but was in Guam on active duty orders and said “Fuck it.” And cut what little I had left off. Feels good, man.

This is me, been bald for 2 years. Best decision. The only downside is the necessity to shave every 2-3 days even though the scalp is irritated.

I’d sworn when I was a teenager that I’d choose bald before the bald chose me. Went through with it fully in 2017. I shave my head 2-3 times a week and have absolutely embraced this as my identity. I am overwhelmed and truly amazed by the vibe this community gives. Just wanted to share my journey.
