Rich and powerful people who think they'll get away with it no matter what comes out, get coddled by the system, and usually do face no consequences.
They've also got groups of uninformed, indoctrinated, or outright morally bankrupt people who will go to bat for them.
I get 3 reactions from people who support trump when discussing things like this: complete indifference because he supports their culture war, confused silence where they shut down or deflect until the topic is changed, or "Who cares, you think Kamala would be any better?"
Hopefully there's more that are just embarrassed and keeping quiet and will actually learn a lesson from all this. Hopefully the democratic movement actually grows some balls and supports the people with a peoples candidate. Hopefully we get some actual consequences for the evil assholes infiltrating our government.

Defeatist thinking leads to defeat. Organize and get the word out, take part in boycotts and blackout days, write your reps and let your voice be heard and inspire others to do the same. Protests are growing.

Sort of, but it really comes down to Epstein protecting himself by recording everything that happens on his island. If anyone were to consider “leaving” this monstrously unethical club, they either couldn’t, or would be forced to stay silent.

I'm more confused by why so many of them seem perfectly fine with having the photos taken. Like they were just so used to being able to do whatever they wanted with no consequence that they never bothered to consider the outcome.

I feel like that’s expected to happen when you are living in a literal reality where the rules do not apply to you. They can do whatever they want. They didn't have to worry about “being caught” because they knew they owned the people whose job it was to look.

This feels a lot like kayfabe they do in wrestling. Is anything they have released against anyone actually actionable? Or is it all meant to just make us gnash our teeth a bit while the elites find new secret hideouts to fuck children in? It's a big club and we ain't in it.
